Balls constantly moving outside the off stump, relentless accuracy when it comes to the line, the pace is not the primary concern, and tall—this seems like the description of the legendary fast bowler Glenn McGrath but it isn't. The same description applies to another tall Australian lad from New South Wales, Josh Hazlewood. The youngest to play first-class cricket for New South Wales at the age of 17, Hazlewood was considered a fast-bowling prodigy from a very young age. His international debut came in 2010 when he played an ODI against England. Being only 19 at the time, Hazlewood was an unfinished product and had to wait till 2014 to receive his Test call-up. He made his Test debut in 2014 against India and soon formed a lethal new-ball partnership with Mitchell Starc. Hazlewood, in a Test against New Zealand in 2015, became the first to become the player of the match in a day-night Test match. As good as he is as a bowler, Hazlewood is a handy lower-order batsman as well. He holds the record for most ODIs played before the first dismissal.
